Ramgarhia Khalsa School
was established in 1986 and has since then been teaching the Punjabi
language and Gurmukhi script to local children and youth. Regular
classes occur every Sunday mornings from September to June and for the
past few years there have been summer camps as well.
The school
aims to not only pass on the Punjabi language, but the values and
heritage that coincides along with it. Keeping our roots alive and
vibrant are an important part of embracing and integrating our
similarities and differences in todays diverse society.
